Spring Fling

This event is annually held at the beginning of spring. The event is a dinner/dance to give recognition to the Persons Served for their personal accomplishments. This is an opportunity for family members, staff, Persons Served, Supports Coordinators, and members of the community to get to know one another and develop relationships outside the Skill Development Programs.

Open House

All CEO Empowerment Centers are participating in the Open House, where you will be able to ask our management personnel all of your questions. Come check us out every 2nd Friday of the month so we can answer them! Please reference the contact information for each location below:

Monthly Birthday Recognition

This event is held monthly in the Empowerment Center to recognize the Persons' birthdays. It is generally held the last Friday of the month, but may vary due to holidays. The birthdays that end in "0" or "5" are listed in the monthly Creatively Speaking Newsletter that is distributed to homes, families, and stake holders.

Family and Home Placement Survey

This survey is done in December to collect information from the families and home placements. This information is compiled to make quality improvements within the service programs.

Creatively Speaking Newsletter

The newsletter is written monthly with information about the programs. It lists accomplishments of Persons Served, as well as the monthly menu for birthday lunches. The newsletter will address any concerns the programs may be having with policies and procedures.

Safety Committee

The safety committee meeting is held monthly at each program to review safety drills and to discuss the overall safety of the program. Persons Served are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings.

Summer Picnic

This annual event is held per county of operation in the late summer. The social event is made up of food, games, and an atmosphere for additional social opportunities to Persons Served, family members, staff, home placement staff, and other stake holders.

Person Served Satisfaction Feedback Survey

This survey is done bi-annually in the months of July and December. The information received is compiled into a report used to make quality improvement changes in the service programs. Picture surveys and other assistance is provided for those Persons Served who are unable to read and still wish to participate.

Holiday Celebration

The Empowerment Centers hold holiday celebrations for the Persons Served. The celebrations vary from complete meals to desserts.

Persons Served Advisory Council

This council meets on a monthly basis at each program. The Persons Served are able to discuss concerns, gain information, and help to bring quality improvements to the programs. The council chooses a new president of the advisory council annually.

Persons Served Program

The programs will host individualized events per the needs of the program. The events may be lunches, talent shows, or fundraisers. The majority of these events will be posted in the newsletter and fliers sent to homes.
